Growing up, my mom was the queen of parties- think beautifully set tables, twinkling lights, and signature cocktails in everyone's hand before they could even say hello. She had this magic way of making every guest feel like the star of the night, and I soaked it all in. But it wasn't until I started visiting friends' homes, where I'd see them frazzled, unsure how to break the ice or keep the energy up, that I realized not everyone had a "hosting mentor" like I did. That's when I knew I had to write this book.
